[Forming and functioning of the beekeeping product market in Ukraine]

The present research is focused on Ukraine's beekeeping farms of various forms of property, in particular agricultural enterprises, auxiliary farms, existing channels of selling beekeeping products (honey, pollen, bee-glue, royal jelly, bee venom, bee hives), taking into consideration demand and supply thereof. The research is aimed at improving the basic principles of forming market price and market relations and at substantiating the given scientific and practical recommendations and proposals concerning the development of beekeeping products market. As theoretical and practical results, methodological approaches of analysis of forming the expenses and determining the economic effectiveness of beekeeping production output at the auxiliary farms are proposed; the efficient level of expenses and prices for beekeeping products are determined; main factors of forming a demand and supply on the beekeeping products market are found out; regularities and tendencies toward the up-to-date development of beekeeping production market are revealed; ways for improving the marketing of beekeeping products and proposals concerning perfecting the pricing thereof are substantiated. The scientific novelty of the dissertation consists in the accurate definition of methods of determining the beekeeping production's economical effectiveness in the conditions of forming the market relations and in the quantitative definition of the effectiveness level. The main factors of forming a demand and supply in beekeeping market at the present conditions are stated. A complex approach to studying the economical problems of beekeeping production market was involved , forming supply thereof in public and private sectors of the economy. An improved methodology of determining the prime cost for beekeeping production at private farms of Ukraine, research-and-production aspects of strategy of development of beekeeping branch are elaborated taking into consideration substituting the beekeeping production by the alternative kinds of products under the conditions of transition to market economy; methodological bases of pricing for the beekeeping production are being further developed; for the first time proposals concerning the market infrastructure and bee-keeping production marketing (distribution channels, advertising, package) are substantiated; a forecast of honey production in Ukraine's oblasts is developed on the basis of rates of consumption of honey by different groups of population
