[Forming the ecologically safe production in Ukraine]

Outlined are the principal provisions of a strategy of developing the biological agriculture in Ukraine. While referring to the international experience from ecologically pure production and development of international food markets, substantiated is the necessity of creating a programme on biological agriculture in Ukraine, adopting laws on the status of ecologically pure lands and ecoproduction. Given is a system of requirements to technology of growing the ecologically pure plant products: selecting cultural species and varieties; the conversion period durability; fertilizer application; pest, disease and weed control; plant growth substances; pollution control; land protection. A mechanism of stimulating the ecoproduction is proposed. The top-priority actions are believed to be tackling the problems of forming the state approach to the development of the ecological production in Ukraine, among which are the ones as follows: creating the preferential conditions for functioning of the domestic market of ecologically pure food products; adopting a law on ecoproduction; providing the integration into international market of ecoproducts
