[Agroecological aspects of vegetable growing]

Analysed is the state of Ukraine's indoor and outdoor vegetable growing sector at farms of various property forms. Attention is paid to hightening the requirements to the products' chemical composition, which is to correspond to the state standards and to be ecologically pure. In the near future part of biological factors of the plant production intensification is determined to total 50 % of yield gain and quality. The main role will be given to the biologization and ecologization of the intensification processes of vegetable growing. The varieties having the complex resistance against diseases, pests, unfavourable environmental conditions will make the base of an ecologically safe low-input technology. The future ecologically pure production is being linked with the aspects as follows: water supply to plants, introducing the optimum irrigation modes, the economical use of irrigation water and use of new irrigation equipment.
