[Agrogeochemical regularities of migration and accumulation of heavy metals in irrigated soils]

The necessity to conduct agrogeochemical studies of migration and accumulation of heavy metals (HM) in the water-soil-plant system is theoretically and experimentally substantiated. The HM content in Ukraine's irrigated waters is found out to be caused preferably by the anthropogenous factor, which in a degree grades the national zonal regularities of the distribution of the metals. The regularities of the HM content in the arable layer and profile-soil distribution thereof in Ukraine's irrigated lands, many-year dynamics of the metals and effect of the fertilizer application on these processes are revealed. For the first time it is clarified that the many-year irrigation with waters of the first class of the quality (according to the metal content) and fertilizer application not changing significantly the total content of the elements give rise to a trend towards an increase in the content of acid-soluble and mobile forms of the majority of the HM. According to the results of calculations of the balance, its negativity for the micronutrients Zn, Co and Cu is revealed. The use of the microfertilizers in the soil occurred to be ineffective. As to distribution of profile forms of the metals, it is found out the existence of alkaline and accumulative layers. The agrogeochemical regularities of the HM migration and accumulation in the system irrigated water-soil-plant are proved to be caused by the close relationships and interdependence of the content of the elements in separate links of the system. The quality of the water and the level of polluton are found to effect the quality of the vegetables and cereals
