[Development of an ecological network in the Kherson oblast]

The idea is considered to create an ecological network with the aim to compensate the consequences of the chaotic, consumer's, destructive nature use. The main tasks of creating the European (Pan-European) Econetwork in the line of realizing the All-European strategy of preserving the biological and landscape diversity are outlined. As the elements of the ecological network, considered are the special features of the following natural regions: Tavriya Natural Region, Azov Natural Region, Black Sea Natural Region, South-Ukrainian Natural Corridor, Coastal-Maritime Natural Corridor, Dnieper Natural Corridor. The state of environment of Kherson oblast's territories is stated. It is noted that oblast's reserved objects require performing the nature protection works. This confirms the expediency of the speedy realization of the planned works for creation of the National ecological network
