Study on nutritional values of freshwater microalage Scenedesmus sp. was conducted from samples collected from local natural water and isolated by axenic streakagar technique. Each species was cultured and analyzed for nutritive values. The percentage of protein content of S. dimorphus, S. bernardii, S. brasiliensis, S. abundans, S. incrassatulus and S. bijuga were 56.56, 52.40, 46.39, 45.60, 42.96 and 29.64, respectively. The percentage of lipid content of S. incrassatulus, S. bijuga, s. dimorphus, S. bernardii, S. brasiliensis and S. abundans were 10.46, 7.31, 6.71, 5.51, 5.34 and 4.87 respectively. The result of this study also showed that Scenedesmus sp. had high level of protein content similar to those reported in previous studies. In order to focus on more details of these 6 species of Scenedesmus sp., biochemical composition such as fatty acid was analyzed and presented in this study.
