Camxe (xylia xylocarpa Roxb) is a large deciduous tree, widely distributed in rain forests of South Vietnam and High Platteau. It has been successfully planted ouside forest in some region of Southern province and become promising species for forestation. This paper deals with the presentation of a study on influence of shading and pot mixture on growth of camxe seedlings in the mursery stage. Results of experiments showed that the pot content composed of garden soil 89 percent (of total mixture weight), organic fertilizer 10 percent and super phosphate 1 percent is suitable for camxe seedlings; Shading should be decreasing from 50 percent at begining to 25 percent at the end of nursery stage; suitable seedling to be transplanted to of 5-7 months old (H=23,3 to 33,5 cm, Doo = 5,6 to 6,7mm).
