Peat soil is very low in pH and poor in nutritional status. Reclamative measure of this soil by dressing mineral soil on top of the peat layer gave good results. However, liming and copper application is a promising ameliorative method. The effect of copper was not pronounced in the case of mineral soil dressing. This might be due to enough copper content in the mineral soil.
