Effect of N, P and K fertilizer on mungbean yield in alkaline soil in Nakhon Sawan province

Effect of N, P and K fertilizer on mungbean yield in alkaline soil were studied at Tak Fa, Takhli and Phaisali farmer's field in Nakhon Sawan province among 2536-2538. The experimental design were randomized complete block with 4 replications. Treatment consisted of 4 rates of nitrogen, phosphate and potassium which were 0, 1.5, 3, 6 kg N/rai, 0, 4.5, 9, 18 kg P2O5/rai and 0, 3, 6, 12 kg K2O/rai, respectively. Mungbean was grown at a spacing of 50*20 cm 2 plant/hill with a plot size of 3*6 m and harvested area 2*4 m. Result from the experiment showed that there were no statistically significant difference in mungbean growth and yield as the effect of nitrogen, phosphate and potash fertilization. Nevertheless, at Tak Fa sites marked yield response to phosphate fertilizer was observed at 4.5 kg P2O5/rai. The average seed yield at Tak Fa. Takhli and Phaisali were 194, 179 and 245 kg/rai, respectively.
