A pot experiment was carried out with alfalfa grown on heavy metal polluted strongly acidic soil from the region of Zlatitsa. Lime material, ferrous hydroxide and coal power were used as amendments. The goal of the present work was to test possibility to obtain high yield and quality production by decrease phytotoxicity stress on heavy metal polluted soil in the plant was retraced. During the growed stage at cultivated plant ameliorating effects lead to improve on soil values (pH, humus), reaching to normal physiological state and increasing alfalfa production by heavy metal contents reduction was established.Transfer factors of alfalfa which are within in limits of normal for heavy metal extention from soil to upper plant biomass were calculated.
