In the article the results of long-term researches of species of genus Rosa in conditions of the Western Pamir were prresented. It was shown, that term of cutting rendered the great influence on green cuttings rooting ability. It was established, that optimal term of cutting for green cuttings of Rosa huntica Chrshan. coincided with the phase of bushes flowering in the nature, and for cuttings of Rosa Beggeriana Schrenk the optimal term was much earlier, at the period of plants budding
