Cultivars, selection forms and seedlings of sea-buckthorn were estimated by ascorbic acid and crude oil content in sea-buckthorn fruits. The variation of these characters depending on a cultivar was shown. The best cultivars, selection forms anf seedlings were selected by ascorbic acid and crude oil content in sea-buckthorn fruits with the purpose of their further use in the breeding and for the processing
