National park Tara is one of the most ecological one in Serbia and in the South East of Europe. At the moment, only 5% of capacity is fullfiled. The tourist structure are mostly stationary visitors. Main characteristic of Tara mountain is quantity, quality and exceptional dispersion of the natural attractions. Those facts have great cumulative effects on the touristic potential of the area. At this moment, reasons for underusing are the rapid lack of the facilities. Natural attraction have to be accessible of they want to become facilities. Touristic attractions will become destinations only with the bult network of natural facilities. Caravan model is the only sustainable one under present conditions.
