Low frequency electromagnetic waves influence on grape vine
Kuljancic, I. | Marinkovic, B. | Papric, Dj. | Medic, M.(Poljoprivredni fakultet, Novi Sad (Serbia and Montenegro))
Study of the effect of low-frequency electromagnetic waves on the grape vine in some localities begins 1997 and 1998, In 1997, investigations were carried out in the vineyards in property of large producers, and in 1998, at experimental field of the Faculty of Agriculture in Sremski Karlovci. In the vineyards in property of large producers only one frequency for proper locality and grape cultivar was fixt out. At the experimental field in Sremski Karlovci few frequencies were investigated and the best one was fixed out. LFEW method had positive effect on grape vine plants in Kukujevci vineyards, and increased yield for 3.6. Same method increased yields in Erdevik's vineyards for 10.2. In Podgorica's vineyards, by this method, yields increased from 4.2 till 17.5, depends on cultivar and locality. At the Experimental field in Sremski Karlovci only frequency number 1 had positive effect on grape yield and quality. Yield increasing was 21. LFEW method confirms positive influence on grape vine and has a fundament for successful implementation in grape vine production.
