Change of the humidity of paper tape with time correlated with simulation models of paper drying

The theoretical and experimental investigations of paper and board drying process have been performed. The date contained process parameters from six paper machines and nine paper basic weight (45 g/square m to 213 f/square m). The process kinetics description based on typical drying curve, which represent moisture / time dependence. The experimental data has been correlated with tree rigorous simulation models (VTT, A and M, Kuiosa) and with simple one, two parameters exponential model (T and S). The validation of these models was performed and it was found good agreement.
