Fruit properties of introduced olive varieties in conditions of Bar [Montenegro (Serbia and Montenegro)]: preliminary results

In order to investigate new olive varieties 12 oil and table varieties were introduced and planted in 1997 in collection of Centre for Subtropical Cultures in Bar, Montenegro. Results of three-year investigation of fruit properties of five introduced olive varieties: Leccino, Frangivento, Manzanilla, Ascolana Tenera and Roggianella were presented. Fruit and stone characteristics and chemical composition of fruit were presented.
