Effect of sowing time on the yield and nutritive value of spring feed crops

The research (performed during the period 1994-1996) of productive properties of spring feed crops has been initiated primarily for the purpose to find out the possibilities of the enlargement of green fodder production in the regions influenced by Mediterranean and Sub - Mediterranean climate. The results indicate that in agroecological conditions of Zetsko - Bjelopavlica plain, Montenegro, high yield of Sudan grass, feed broomcorn and corn could be obtain and therefore they should be grown for the production of green fodders and silage in this area.
