The study about Trombiculidae of rodent at oil palm plantation and forest around PTPN VI Kinali, Pasaman was conducted from October 2000 to February 2001. The result showed that there were five species of rodent namely Rattus argentiventer, R. exulans, R. tiomanicus, R. rajah and R. ratus. Number of rodent found at shrub were 15 individuals (4 species), forest around were 7 individuals (2 species) and oil palm plantation were 2 individuals (2 species). Trombiculidae larvae found were Laelaps nuttalli (740 individuals), Longolaelaps sp. (318 individuals), Leptotrombidium deliense (166 individuals), Gahrliepia insigne (104 individuals), Leptotrombidium sp. (32 individuals), Echinolaelaps echidninus (14 individuals), Odontacarus sp. (5 individuals) and Eutrobicula wichmanni (4 individuals). Total number of larvae of Trombiculidae found were 1383 individuals
