Studies were conducted on the larva-pupal endoparasitoid Opius sp. (Hymenoptera: Braconidae) to determine its biological characteristic when Liriomyza huidobrensis (Blanchard) (Diptera: Agromyzidae) is a host. Eggs were deposited in host larvae and parasitoid larval development started after host pupation. Mean developmental time from egg to adult was 13.59 days. An average of 113.0 progeny were produced per female during her life time when 40-50 leafminer larvae were provided daily. Sex ratios of the offs spring were highly biased in favor of females (73.47 percent). Mean adult longevity was 10.80 days for females and 13.90 days for males
