Sweet corn (Zea mays saccharata Sturt), namely jagung manis. Appropriate altitude for this plant about 3.000 m asl., with average temperature about 21-30 deg. C, pH about 5.5-7.0 and rain fall about 300-600 mm/month in its growth period. This research is conducted at Jl. Sukarno Hatta, Griya Shanta, Malang. The soil type is Oxisol and its elevation is 500 asl. The research has conducted since February until April 2002. The research aiming at knowing growth response and yield of sweet corn on chicken manure and kascing fertilizer. Experiment conducted by using Group Random Plan with 4 replications. The treatments as follow: without organic fertilizer (P1), chicken manure fertilizer 5 t/ha (P2), chicken manure fertilizer 7.5 t/ha (P3), chicken manure fertilizer 10 t/ha (P4), kascing fertilizer 2 t/ha (P5), kascing fertilizer 6 t/ha (P6). Obtained data then analyzed by variant analysis or F test on 5 percent level. To know the influence between treatments, it is conducted by contrast orthogonal test on real level (5 percent). Results showed that there is interaction between chicken manure fertilizer and kascing fertilizer application. Kascing fertilizer give better response on plant height parameter, leaves wide, dry weight total, wet weight tongkol with husk, wet weight tongkol without husk, tongkol length, tongkol diameter, and number of kernel gully. The best dosage of kascing fertilizer is 4 t/ha and dosage of chicken manure is 7.5 t/ha
