Study of environment factors for rice plant at Rasau Jaya (Indonesia) I location

The objective of the present study are to identify environment stress factor and to identify discriminatively high yielding rice variety suitable at Rasau Jaya I. A field experiment evaluating 15 genotypes tidal swamp rice arranged in Randomized Complete Block Design with four blocks as replication was conducted in selected locations at Rasau Jaya I. The result showed that IR 64, Lalan, and B 6996 D-MR-69-3-1 were discriminative varieties at Rasau Jaya I. The main constrain of rice production for Rasau Jaya I are low pH and high pyrite content
