The effects of soil fertility on microflora in the rhizosphere

In order to evaluate function of micro flora in rhizosphere for soil productivity , soil micro flora in greenhouse was investigated. 1) Micro flora was influenced by both cattle farmyard manure application and soil inorganic nitrogen density. Inorganic nitrogen density in soil was higher, soil respiration activity was lower. 2) When soil inorganic nitrogen density is over 20mg/100g in soil, spinach growth and yield were reduced, and soil micro flora diversity was down. 3) Based on the results obtained , suitable soil inorganic nitrogen density was effective for the diversity of soil fungi flora. 4) We examined soil fertility of spinach cultured greenhouses in Miyagi prefecture. It was recognized that greenhouses where nitrate 20mg/100g, Truog phosphate 200mg/100g, base saturation percentage 140% existence, were over 50%. Spinach growth and yield was increased until soil inorganic nitrogen density 20mg/100g, but tended to decrease over 20mg/100g. 5) The effect of the nitrogen fertilizer on root fungi flora of spinach, was investigated. The concentration of nitorogen fertilizer was higher, its fungi flora diversity was lower. It is considered that too much nitrogen fertilizer application was badly influenced on the diversity of root fungi flora.
