(1) We examined about the influence that organic nitrogen in the water from HASHIE pond gave to paddy-rice. The average concentration of organic nitrogen in the irrigation water was about 3mg/1. (2) The nitrogen load of the paddy-rice cultivation sedson was about 9kg/10a. (3) And it became clear that the influence of organic nitrogen on the paddy-rice had great influence on the yield quality in the area as far as 20m from the inlet. (4) Customary cultivation increased the nitrogen load and nitrogen content in brown rice. (5) But The yield quality got better by letting dosage of fertilizer decrease by 50 - 75% near the water inlet than by customary cultivation and the falling also became extinct.
