Studies on green amenity

Recently, we often hear the word ""amenity."" Amenity means comfort for human being. ""Green amenity"" is defined as comfortable effect on human being by ornamental foliage plants, flowers and fragrance of plants in room. Effect of green amenity is considered to be divided into thermal environment control and comfort effect, psychological and physiological effect, perceptible effect and effect of removal of harmful materials. The author has been making a series of studies on green amenity for about ten years and the results of the studies were summarized in the present paper.
