Summary For management of livestock animals and medicine in biology laboratories and dairy farms, a computer database system was developed using the File Maker Unlirnited 6. O database program. The database system was installed on a personal computer equipped with Microsoft Windows 2000. Data input and output was performed via client computers on an intra-network system. This database system manages memorandum of individual animals, medical records, body weight and scale, experiment plans and records, shipment and selection records, as well as including individual information regarding number, name, birth date, etc. All data was synchronized for management by a Personal Digital Assistant. This database system could manage the most current records pertaining to animals and medicine, and proved a useful tool for efficiently organizing a biology laboratory .
