Experiments were carried out with two species of bumblebees, Bombus ignitus and B. ardens, rearing with some natural source of pollen and honey together with sugar solution. Some results obtained are discussed from the point of view for the practical mass rearing of bumblebees, and summarized as below; The characteristics of oviposition and development of B. ignitus with sugar solution are more effective than with acacia honey and mixed honey in case of oviposition rate and days for first oviposition.
