The investigation of risk factors on organic milk production

In the absence of sufficient literature (scientific based) on the effect of organic farming on milk quality in Latvia, a discussion is presented of the main factors likely impact on organic milk quality. There the aim of the present study was to identify the risk factors and their influence on organic milk quality and healthy. This article is based on information obtained from the published articles, reviews, proceedings of the conferences on organic milk production. In order to achieve the aim of the topic the following methods of research have been used: analysis and synthesis, etc. The main risk factors of organic milk production are chemical and microbiological hazards, chemical composition of organic milk, and from economical aspect the costs and yield of milk production. Those characteristic has been done in present study. More careful study of factors such as feeding activities, manure, environment and management in the organic production context is therefore urgently needed.
