Skrivele, M.(Dobele Horticultural Plant Breeding Experimental Station (Latvia)) | Dimza, I.(Latvia)
Deficiency of zinc in plants causes disturbances of metabolism of amino acids and amides, also synthesis of chlorophyll, starch, vitamin C and vitamin B, and processes of reproduction. Zinc increases resistance of plants to winter hardiness, hot climate and several stress factors. Zinc facilitates uptake of calcium.
