Studies were carried out to assess the influence of different levels ofsulphur fertilization ( 0, 25, 50, 75, 100, 125 and 150 kg ha-1). The experiment waslaid out in randomized complete block design with three replications and a netplot size of 1.8m x 5m. Data on various growth and yield parameters of canolawere recorded using the standard procedures. The results revealed that thehighest seed yield (3725 kg ha-1) was obtained in T4 with 100 k ha-1 S whichwas however, at par with treatment where 125 kg S ha-1 was applied. Whileminimum seed yield (2870 kg ha- 1) was recorded in case of control i.e. with noS. Oil content progressively increased with increase of S level with highest (45.10%) with a S level of 150 kg ha-1. But a perusal of economic analysis showed thatT4 i.e. application of 100 kg ha-1 would be more economical than all othertreatments.
