The study of the air was conducted in a poultry-house, a cow-shed and a sheep-shed in 1998 and 1999. The microflora of indoor air was determined by Kochs method. The sanitary state of the air was evaluated by total content of microbes (cfu/cubic m of air) and content of saprophytes and fungus microflora. The highest amount of microbes was found in the air of a poultry-house (253,000 cfu/cubic m), whereas the level of microbial pollution in the air of a cow-shed and a sheep-shed was consistent with normal predictions of about 60,000 cfu/cubic m
