Content of oil and development fatty acids profile in long-term storage yellow lupin seeds (Lupinus luteus L.)

The aim of this study was to determine the content of oil and fatty acids profile in long-term storage in yellow lupin seeds cv. Juno collected in 1994-99 years. As the effect of 5 years storage of yellow lupin seeds the content of oil was lowered about 0.89 percent of dry mass. Linolenic acid was dominate in fatty acids profile with content of 41 percent. The process of degradation of lupin seeds viability was connected with enhanced percentage share of saturated fatty acids
