Impact of tillage minimization on maize cropping on some chemical properties of soil

The impact of different types of tillage of maize on some chemical properties during 5-years of field experiment was studied. The results show that chemical characteristics of soil are changing depends on the type of tillage. After 5-years of no-till the soil organic matter slightly increased in the top (0-10 layer). Concentration of available phosphorus under zero-tillage was in this layer also highest. But the highest content of potassium in the surface layer occurred under conventional tillage
