Present situation and cereals production possibilities of select farms in the Central-Eastern Poland

The present situation and possibilities for cereals production is presented on the basis of the research via questionnaires carried out on farms of Central-Eastern Poland. It was observed that a high proportion of cereals in the structure of arable crop land, amounting to 76.1 percent, is a factor limiting cereals yielding. Mineral fertilization of NPK and the soils quality modified, to the greatest degree, the cereals yields on the farms examined.
