The CARDI Guyana Unit annual technical report contains three sections. Section one is entitles Adminidtration and Related Matters, the second section, Crop Production Programme and the third Livestock Research Programme. The first section offers a staff listing, details of assistance and traing provided by CARDI and the work programme for 1988/89. Next, the Crop Production Progamme focusses on soyabean production, legumme seed multiplication and soil research. Finally, the Livestock Research Programme maintained emphasis in two major areas (a) forage evaluation and production and (b) animal production at Moblissa and on the Coast under the CARDI/IDRC Milk Production Systems Project.
