Soil quality as affected by perennial plant growing in Phuquy, Nghean
2004
Nguyen Cong Vinh
Soil in Phuquy, Nghean mainly developed from bazalt rock is considered as the most fertile one among soils in mountainous and hilly areas in Vietnam. However, after longtime being planted to perennial crops such as oranges, coffee and rubber, etc the soil became acid with poor organic and total nitrogen content. Available N, P, K content is far below the requirements of the perennial crops.
