The Forestry Service of Mauritius has associated itself with the SADC Forestry Sector since November, 1995. It has fully integrated into the SADC Tree Seed Centre Network with the establishment of a National Tree Seed Centre in 1997. Mauritius has benefited immensely from the SADC Tree Seed Centre Network in terms of funds, equipment and training. It therefore wishes to express its appreciation and gratitude the SADC Tree Seed Centre Network.
