Several Breeding Seedling Orchards of Eucalyptus camaldulensis (dehn) were established in the drier areas of Zimbabwe with the main objective of providing a broader genetic base for the E. camaldulensis breeding population in the Petford and Wrotham Park provenances. The seedlots were from a comprehensive seed collection encompassing 177 seedlots from individual trees in six selected provenances of Eucalyptus camaldulensis (dehn) in Australia, known to do well in the drier areas of Zimbabwe.
