Plants were grown before transplanting under two different growing systems - conventional and biological. The soil and the mature and biological fertilizer from Californian red worm (Lumbricus rubellus) were agrochemically characterized. Mineral composition of the leaves has been followed and the morphological characteristics of the plants measured ( plant height, number of leaves and root system dimensions).
