[To the question of the quality state of the land resources (soil cover) in the system of the state land cadastre of the Russian Federation]

The inventory of the quality status of land resources (soil cover) is substantiated as required in system of the state land cadastre to be a contributory tool to reach its efficient use and conservation at any level. It is vitaly necessary to obtain cadastre information in terms of land qualities in the total area of the Russian Federation, in different republics, regions, municipal districts and every plot of land. A special set of qualitative indices must be applicable to all the categories of lands used for many different purposes and cadastre surveys carried out at different territorial levels. Informative data of cadastre surveys can be changed depending on the tasks to be solved but the principle of necessity to have a sufficiently complete information should be grown in importance.
