[Natural factors as the basis of the Vitebsk region agriculture development]

Vitebsk region differs a soil variety by types presence and their distribution on territory in the connection with soil forming factors of landscape heterogeneity. Comparative morphometrical analysis of the basic relief characteristics of region allowes to expose the erosive direction and its different intensity in various landscapes. In according to the peculiarity of the soil-geomorphological conditions the correlation between use, conservation, and soil improvement at the optimum use of the potential landscapes possibilities with the purpose of stability both the agricultural production efficiency increase and the warning of possible negative consequence of their use has been studied.
