2005
Slaudinis, G. | Lazauskas, S.(Lithuanian Inst. of Agriculture (Lithuania))
Results of field experiments carried out in 2003 and 2004 with 3 rates of nitrogen and 3 rates of sulphur in spring rape crops are presented. Effect of nitrogen fertilizers on nitrogen content in plants at stem elongation was significant only if combined with sulphur fertilizers. Content of sulphur in plants increased with application of sulphur fertilizers. In warmer and dryer year (2003) optimum nitrogen rate for seed yield was 90 kg/ha-1 and in 2004, with more favourable moisture conditions, optimum nitrogen rate was 150 kg/ha-1. Sulphur fertilizers rate with application of 20 kg/ha-1 was the most effective
