Micropropagation of 4 Golden Delicious clones

In order to achieve a high number of in vitro shoots for using in other future trials, we ought to define specific medium for micropropagation of each 4 Golden Delicious clones. The best pretreatment was observed by brushing immersed woody cuttings in solution of Calcium hypocloride 1% for 15 minutes and successively in HgCl2 0.1% for 20 minutes. The most efficient sterilization of herbaceous explants showed to be 60 seconds in 80% ethanol, 20 minutes in HgCl2 0.1%. "Golden Smoothee", "Golden B", and "G. Crielaard" showed the highest proliferation rate on the medium containing 3, 2.5, and 2mgl-1 BAP correspondingly. It was shown that 1mgl-1 IBA had the highest efficiency to promote rooting, under normal photoperiod
