2006
Zabara, Y.M.(The National Academy of Sciences, Minsk (Belarus). Institute of Vegetable Crops)
Researches were carried out on sod-podzolic soil with different texture at the institute of vegetable growing the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and collective farm "Znamya" (Brest dictrict). 23 onion varieties of domestic and foreign selection were studied for their suitability to the cultivation in annual culture. The most effective herbicides were stomp (3,0 l/ha), a combination of stomp with totril (3,0+2,2 l/ha), and totril with bazagran (1,7+2,0 l/ha) and totril with peat oxidant (1,7+7,0 l/ha). Biological efficiency made 63,5-96,3% and practical - 17,6-24,6%. The use of ecologically harmless growth regulators made of natural raw material of peat oxidant, acid peat oxidant and flax peat oxidant in onion crops increased the productivity by 3,0-9,4%, the output of healthy bulbs after storage increased up to 0,8-11,6%, and the quantity of nitrates in production decreased in 1,2-1,6 times
