Plant pollen is one of the most significant allergen in the air that is transported by wind to great distances. Pollen grains that cause allergy reactions (bronchitis, conjuctivitis, asthma) affect a large number of people due to its specific chemical composition (structure). Approximately, 20 to 30% population is endangered by these allergens. From people health aspects, plant pollen is considered as polluting material in the atmosphere. The International Association for Aerobiology (IAA) has defined the period of time during which the taking of samples can be continuously carried out. In our climatic conditions the period starts around February 1 (the time when hazel and alder trees begins to flower) and lasts till first days of November (end of flowering of mugwort and amrosia), total 24 types of plants.
