Possibility of enzymes use for scouring cotton fabric

The results show that the treated cotton fabric is cleaner without larger damages of own structure, and alkaline scouring is more intensive, the achieved levels of whiteness and absorption are higher, but the mass loss after scouring and after bleaching are higher. The absorption and whiteness of enzymatically treated fibres is improved.
