The study represents the continuation of systematic research of the harmful entomofauna attacking seed alfalfa in the region of Eastern Serbia (Serbia and Montenegro), as well as finding out the most efficient measures for crop protection from harmful insects. The investigation results show that the harmful entomofauna of the researched region is very rich in species. Twenty five species were determined, that is 18 phytophagous and 7 zoophagous. The most significant pests of green mass are among them as well as the pests attacking the seed. Acetamiprid, Mospilan 20SP, showed the greatest efficiency in experiments. It was better that the others or on the level of standard in all cases. Tiametoxam, Actara 25WG, show excellent efficiency to Tychius flavus, while being satisfactory to Aphididae, the alfalfa beetle and alfalfa 24 th ladybird, and unsatisfactorily efficient to all other harmful species.
