Determination of weed resistance to herbicides - ALS inhibitors
2005
Maric, D.
The phenomenon and possibility of development of resistance to herbicides of ALS inhibitor group in weed species Chenopodium album, Datura stramonium and Sorghum halepense has been examined. The samples of weed plants seeds have been collected from different sites of the southern Banat. At the same time the research has been carried out on whole plants grown either in controlled conditions and in Petri plates, treated with series of herbicides quantities to get a wrong reaction. Delicate referent population is included in experiments, collected from meadow residence and indexes are calculated in relation to it. Because of the ALS inhibitors frequent use the southern Banat sites, region of Skorenovac and Kovin, biotypes of weed species Chenopodium album less sensitivity to applied herbicides are established. The differences in sensitivity/resistance between examine population are confirmed by variation analysis and the dependence of analysed parameter changes from applied herbicides quantities by LSD test.
