The importance of integral protection of plants in preservation of soil

The goal of the study is to point out the successful carrying out of the prognosis of pest occurrence in soil, as well as signalization of optimal deadlines for their suppression. The prognosis methods of economically most significant pests require the integration and mutual complementing for the sake of identifying the spread, number, developmental stages and harmfulness. Identifying the presence of pests by soil examination in different periods and depths, examination of plant remnants, as well as following the developmental stages by various means of hunting and identifying the critical number, provide timely carrying out of chemical protective measures only when necessary. The integral approach to plant protection prevents the prospective pollution of soil area and provides the protection of human environment.
