Starting from 1987, the Laboratory for Physical Geography at Belgrade Faculty of Geography has been doing some systematic researches of hydrochemical characteristics of surfacial flows of Serbia, and especially chemical characteristics of karst springs in eastern Serbia. Considering this, the water samples have been taken periodically, during the different seasons, in order to do macro - chemical analysis. Results show that the most of these waters are placed, by its neorganic composition, in the group of very good and good waters, but they are very different by disolved organic matters and bacteriological composition.
