In this experiment was examined influence of supplemental copper (200 mg Cu/kg) and oil on production particularities (live weight, daily weight gain, feed conversion and feed intake) and cholesterol level in white and red meat, abdominal fat, skin and serum in broiler chickens. Totally 980 day-old chickens, divided in 7 treatments were fed during 6 weeks. One treatment was fed with control diet (based on corn and soybean meal, without additional fat), and others were fed with added some of technical fats (sunflower oil, soya oil and linseed oil) with or without supplemental copper (200 mg Cu/kg). Treatments with copper have been significantly live weights increase related with control and treatments with oil, cholesterol contents lower 13.62% - 24.09% in red meat, and 10.03% - 12.47% in white meat than control treatment. Also, cholesterol contents in abdominal fat, skin and serum were decreased. Simultaneously, there have not been increased copper level in carcass and liver. Feeding with 200 mg supplemental copper/kg have been justified.
